Monthly Support Plans
Monthly IT support plans, with the prices on the page
Three plans of managed IT services covering your whole team for a fixed fee per user, per month. The step up between them is on-site: the middle plan puts an engineer in your building at no extra charge. Prices are below rather than behind a contact form.

- On-site included from £70/user
- 30-mile coverage from Mansfield
How our managed IT services are priced
Per user, per month, covering every machine that user touches. That is how the UK market has settled and it is the only model that does not punish you for asking for help. There are no per-ticket charges, no call-out fees inside the coverage area, and no separate invoice for the phone call you were nervous about making.
This page sits under our business IT support hub, which covers what the service includes in more detail.
For what the service actually covers day to day, see business IT support.
If you are still deciding whether a monthly plan beats paying by the hour at all, we have worked the sum through in managed IT support against break-fix.

Servers are priced separately at £60–100 per server, per month. Covers monitoring, patching, backup verification and restore testing on Windows and Linux servers, physical or virtual. Priced on role and size rather than a flat rate, because a domain controller and a line-of-business database are not the same job.
What "on-site included" means, precisely
It means an engineer at your premises, during business hours, with no call-out charge and no hourly billing, for reactive faults and routine work, inside a defined area.
That area is about 15 miles from Mansfield. It covers Mansfield and Mansfield Woodhouse, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Shirebrook, Warsop, Ollerton, Bolsover, Clowne, Alfreton, Chesterfield, Worksop, Hucknall, Arnold, Ripley, Heanor, Southwell, Nottingham and the towns between them. Outside it we still come out. Visits are scheduled rather than same day, and travel time is quoted before we set off so there is never a surprise line on the invoice.
Projects, office moves, new-site installations and out-of-hours work are quoted separately. Not because we are looking for the upsell, but because a server migration and a jammed printer are not the same job and pretending otherwise makes the included promise meaningless.
Servers
Servers sit outside the per-user price at £60 to £100 per server per month, depending on role and size. That covers monitoring, patching, backup verification and restore testing on Windows and Linux, physical or virtual, because a domain controller and a line-of-business database are not the same amount of work.
There is more detail on server support and business backups.

The terms, plainly
Coverage area
We are based in Mansfield and cover a 30-mile radius, which takes in the whole of Nottinghamshire, north-east Derbyshire and part of South Yorkshire. On-site visits are included as standard within about 15 miles, covering Mansfield, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Chesterfield, Worksop, Bolsover, Alfreton, Hucknall, Arnold and Nottingham. Further out we work remote-first and schedule visits for the work that genuinely needs somebody in the room, because a remote fix usually lands before a van would.
Included visits cover reactive faults and routine work during business hours. Projects, office moves and installations are quoted separately so nobody is guessing.
Term and billing
Plans run on a rolling monthly basis with 30 days’ notice either way. There is no multi-year tie-in and no exit fee. Billing is monthly in advance by direct debit, and the user count is trued up each month so you are not paying for someone who left in March.
If you leave, we hand over documentation, admin credentials and backups rather than making it awkward. We would rather keep clients because the service works.
Pay as you go Not ready for a plan? We work pay-as-you-go at £85 per hour, on-site or remote, with no minimum commitment. Most clients move onto a plan once they have added up a few months of call-outs.

How much does managed IT support cost per user?
Our plans are £40, £70 and £100 per user per month. The UK market sits between £40 and £150, with most small businesses landing between £60 and £85 for a plan that genuinely includes security, backup and a response commitment. Our £70 Support plan is where most Nottinghamshire clients end up.
Do you charge extra for on-site visits?
No. On-site visits are included in our monthly support plans within our Nottinghamshire coverage area. Pay-as-you-go clients are charged for on-site time at our standard hourly rate, which is one of the main reasons most clients move onto a plan.
Where exactly is the included coverage area?
About fifteen miles from Mansfield, which covers Mansfield, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Shirebrook, Warsop, Ollerton, Bolsover, Clowne, Alfreton, Chesterfield, Worksop, Hucknall, Arnold, Ripley, Heanor, Southwell and Nottingham. We cover 30 miles in total, and beyond the included radius visits are scheduled with travel time quoted before we set off.
How are servers priced?
Servers are £60 to £100 per server per month on top of the per-user fee, depending on role and size. That covers monitoring, patching, backup verification and restore testing on Windows and Linux, physical or virtual.
Is there a minimum number of users?
Five. Below that the maths rarely works in your favour and pay-as-you-go is usually the honest answer, which is what we will tell you on the call.
Do we have to sign a long contract?
Our support plans run on a rolling monthly basis with a 30-day notice period. There is no multi-year tie-in and no exit fee. We would rather keep clients because the service works than because a contract makes leaving difficult.
What is not included in the monthly fee?
Hardware and software licensing, projects such as server migrations and office moves, out-of-hours work, and on-site time beyond the coverage area. All of it is quoted in advance rather than appearing on an invoice afterwards.
