Worksop is thirteen miles north of our Mansfield office. It has two quite separate business populations, a town centre trade competing locally and a distribution base selling nationally, and a website built for one will do very little for the other.

Business technology in Worksop
The split matters more here than in most towns we cover. The retail, hospitality and service businesses around Bridge Street and the town centre live or die by local search, and for them the Google Business Profile and correct information do most of the work. The distribution, logistics and manufacturing firms out toward Manton and the A57 sell to other businesses, often nationally, and local proximity signals do almost nothing for them.
For the first group the advice is consistent and slightly unwelcome from a web company: fix the profile first.
